Aboard a small boat heading towards Le Chalet des Iles, you embark on a short yet symbolic journey, marking the break between the excitement of the city and the quiet countryside.
Seated on one of our waterside terraces in nice weather, surrounded by century-old trees, you’ll be soothed by the songs of birds while peacocks and ducks share the verdant lawn with rabbits. When chilly weather arrives, the enchanting wood-burning fire in our beautiful fireplace will make you forget the time as you are soothed by soft piano music. The Second Empire meets the 21st century with crystal chandeliers, chaise longue sofas in red velvet and many sophisticated details.
Cédric Poncet began his career in the nineties in several restaurants in the Seine and Marne as a Chef de Cuisine. He gained experience in a wide variety of culinary environments and in the organization of receptions and special events. He moved to Paris at the end of the nineties to begin a new phase of his career that included seven years at "L'Appart" where he developed a Sunday lunch concept with the creation of an attraction for children and brunch for the parents. Since 2007 he has been the chef at the Petit Poucet, accompanied by Gilles Cendres, where he offers a contemporary cuisine based on local market produce.
In addition, every week from Monday through Friday we offer two weekly menus at lunchtime (starter/main dish or starter/main dish/dessert) at attractive prices.
